I'm soooo pi$$ed.....need help..
by morty ini hope someone can help me with this one............................ i finally got the money together to take a holiday to see my sister out west.
i also booked this flight to have my son come along with me as he has never flown before...he was soo excited and so was i.we planned a 8 day trip for the march break and planned on finally seeing the mountains and checking out the biggest mall in the world..... we booked our flights and used my debit card to purchase the tickets and 10 hours later, the company we booked the tickets with ( jetsgo) went bankrupt!!!!!!.

Transport Minister Jean Lapierre, speaking at a news conference in Ottawa, said the airline industry in Canada is competitive, and there is little he can do to help stranded passengers.
He said some ticket holders may be able to get refunds, depending on how they booked their flights.
VISA Canada and MasterCard have both said they would refund the tickets. Travel agencies in certain provinces also have policies in place to compensate travellers.

I crashed my car

with one exception, my employer, vodafone, had organised a sales challenge party in bussum, that?s between hilversum and amsterdam.
as a consequence, our shop closed at 4 pm.

GREAT TO BE FREE

it's a little over a year now (2 years last february) that my family and i left watchtower and i can't begin to tell you how wonderful life has been!.
ok, i'm saddled with a serious illness at present and enough has been said about it, but i'd just like to focus on how much a family can really grow once it has been freed from watchtower's yoke.

Good for you Ian and family.
Nice to see that recovery from the J.W. has now brought more family time and individual time to you all.
I feel the same way and can't even imagine how cramped time would be if our family of 5 were on the JW running wheel.
Two of our boys are about the same ages as yours. I can envision yours because of that. They are just so full on life and enjoy their friends their sports and their futures. The doors are all open for them to explore, make changes and move on with unconditional love and support from us. I'm sure you probably feel the same.
It's a bit noisy in our household but at this stage of my life and theirs...well, I just wouldn't have it any other way. I say, family life...BRING IT ON!!! I just love it.

RCMP officers meet today in my home community to pay their respects. We have at least three officers here that served with this fallen comrades or trained in Regina along with them.
Very tragic event and sad loss of life. Constable Peters fathers eulogy on T.V. was just tearful.
Nothing like this since the Northwest Rebellion in the 1800's..

I couldn't figure out why their flack jackets didn't protect them until my husband said that those jackets won't stop a bullet from a High powered rifle. I was angered too to find out this mad man had stalked these officers over a few weeks as well.

Name ways in which the Watchtower could make JW life more "appealing"?

jw meetings are so dull, and so alike, that one can only become bored in no time.
what changes would you have made in the meetings or after the meetings to make jw life more appealing and still christian?

Get rid of the disfellowshipping thingy.
Get rid of the blood transfusion stuff.
Wear whatever you want at the meetings.
Only 1 meeting a week.
No more of this field service stuff.
Give itself a good kicking as far as equality of men and women. Women elders, ms, etc. too.
Refocus their structure and take out the GB and have a direct line to God.
almost sounds like they are just going to have to dismantle the whole darn thing doesn't it.
Too much bible interpretation in their beliefs too. That Armageddon thingy is certainly way over the top for me now.

B. talked a blue streak today!
by bebu insome of you know that i have a daughter with a language delay; she is 5 1/2 right now, but talks more like a 3-year old in many respects.
in fact, a great deal of her speech has been cut-and-paste phrases she picked up around the home or on tv.
she has recently been using some phrases in better context, so we've seen progress.

I'd have been crying too.
When our kids struggle with things or some set back of some kind I am overwhelmed when they burst through the plateau. It's just so heart warming and just just soooo GREAT!.
I think you need to get up and do the "Happy Dance" around the kitchen.
I'll do it for you here, right now, in my kitchen and shout "WHOOO HOOO" for Bebu's little B.

sounds like you had a very wonderful experience that will be life lasting for you.
Very interesting, I have heard and done the writing and burning thing before but never in the context of such a huge Timber fire as this one. Very symbolic and cleansing.
Maybe I'll pick up one of his books at the library and have a read.
